Opened in 2014, Buena Mexican Grill is a family-based restaurant dedicated to serving the Baltimore community. Our goal is to create a store that provides the highest quality food with an amazing attention to detail and customer service that is second to none.

 

Our food is sourced from top quality seasonal ingredients, featuring a high percentage of local and organic products, such as fresh local Stone Crab, local Blue Crab, and shrimp from the Baltimore Harbor. We consider Buena Mexican Grill to be a truly “Mexican” restaurant honoring many different cooking traditions and interpreting them with our unique creative vision. The result is food that is honest, straightforward and pays homage to the bounty of the Baltimore region and the deep heritage of Mexican food.

 

Founded in 2014 by Mr. Imtiaz Bashir (PHD, Harvard Culinary School), the inspiration for Buena Mexican Grill was born out of his desire to create a totally unique food company that offers both great food and experience. Buena’s mission is simple: provide fresh, uniquely delicious options for food-lovers and healthy eaters alike. With more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry and a passion like no other, Mr. Imitaz Bashir is enthusiastic in creating an atmosphere that you and your family will come back to again and again.
